Widget, my first border collie who started my heart's passion for this breed!

As an exceptional puppy, Widget learned all the utility exercises by the tender age of 5 months old!!!

With his desire to be a team player so young, we ventured into the Novice B obedience ring at 9 months of age earning a 200 for our 3rd leg!

Widget was a breath of fresh air as training him was pure pleasure!

His enthusiasm for life made obedience fun, fun and more FUN than it ever was training my 2 Irish Setters!

The soul of Widget penetrated thru his eyes! 

My 'Widge' was the best puppy sitter to my early litters!

"Widget, you penetrated a special place in my heart and in my soul...not because you earned 2 perfect scores of '200', not because you won 2 Super Dog titles, but because you were my greatest teacher in learning your unique ways!"

I will be forever indebted to Edgar Gould of Cooperlane Farm for allowing me to take this special red & white  border collie home that memorable day up in the Berkshires of Massachusetts!
